Animal Hospital Jones Road

I have been using this clinic since 1989, and have had nothing but wonderful experiences with the staff and doctors. They are always caring with my pets, from the puppies to the old guys. I know my dogs have lived healthier lives because of the vets expert care. They have great hours too!

Vet techs are compassionate and caring. This place may be fine for routine treatment or vaccinations. But I just lost a beloved pet to the overall lack of care from this clinic in regard to a very aggressive skin condition which covered her entire body. After 7 visits in 4 weeks and my numerous urgent pleas, and failure to achieve a definitive diagnosis, I was simply advised to keep up the current medication protocol and come back in a week or 2. How about admitting that your treatment is not working and referring out to a specialist? The cat was on death's door by then, but it was their opinion that "she looks better". I ended up spending an additional $2,000 taking her to Gulf Coast to try to diagnose and save her, unsuccessfully, as she had slipped into irreversible shock. This, after she had spent the entire day 2 days earlier at the clinic under their so-called supervision!

And, after all the visits and money and torment, you would think that the clinic would call to follow up or offer condolences, or perhaps send a card/note. No. Instead, you receive an email reminder that your dead animal is due for a vaccination.

66 bucks to be told that they WOULD not do anything and that's not really bothers me. I went to the vet to get a simple tag removed an told the technician up front, nicely, that if we could not get it removed today that i would like to just pay what i owed and wait for my vet to open the following day.

Instead of honoring my instructions she pretended to while she had the vet come in and charge even more.

Beware of the shady business practices of this business, they clearly care more about the money than the animals.
