I contacted Dog Duty to clean the backyard of my new house which had previously been occupied by two dogs. I prepaid them with a credit card over the phone so that they could come out while I was at work. When I arrived home that day, there was a trash bag filled with dog excrement in my front yard. While I was not pleased with this, I thought maybe it was not part of their service to haul away. Then, I was appalled when I stepped into my small backyard. Over the course of the weekend I picked up 15-20 dog piles that they "missed." I could not wait for them to come back on Monday since it was Easter weekend and I had children coming over on Sunday. I left two messages over the weekend and received a somewhat apologetic phone call on Monday saying they would issue a refund to my credit card. When I still had not seen the refund, I called back to see when I would get the $48.71 back on my card. The woman said that they would not give a full refund but would reduce the charge to $43.30! Unbelievable!! You should never use these people! My backyard is quite small and they missed tons of piles as well as leaving the stuff they did pick up in my front yard! Then they said they would issue a refund only to later specify that they meant they would credit me $5. I would at least have expected to get HALF of my $ back since they only seemed to pick up half of the waste in my backyard. Appalling service and then they did not even attempt to rectify the situation.
