My Beautiful White Wolf Sah-ti-ih got on the road and was hit by a car, and I really did not think that she would live. I just happened to be at my mail box 200 yards from my house and turned around and saw that it was my wolf Sah-ti-ih was hit and hurt very badly, I told the guy who hit her to stay and watch her and I run and got my help and had them come with my truck and take her to the Lucus Vet and Doctor Kendall and his wonder staff worked with her and fixed her broken leg and now she is doing great, but I do not let her out of yard. I would say that Doctor Kendall and his great staff are the Best Place to take your animals as they really do care. J. R. Fulton
Dan Kendall and his staff are very nice and help in any way possible. We have been taking our animals there for several years. I would not trust anyone else with our animals.
What a great Vet and staff. We owned a Husky name Seger that was very ill and needed attention immediately. Having never been a client of LVH in the past Dr. Kendall treated us as if we had been there for 20 years. My husky eventually past from his illness but the experience couldn't have been more thoughtful or understanding for that situation. He spent 35 minutes explaining blood work and X-rays to help us understand what was going on with our most precious pet. We really appreciate what they did for our Seger and we will be clients for life. THANKS.
We have been going to Dr. Kendall for as long as he has been open. He does everything in his power to take care of our animals.
Dr. Kendall and his whole staff treat our bulldog, Leonard, like one of their own! Leonard actually LOVES to go to see them! Dr. K. is very knowledgeable and explains everything so you can really understand what is going on with your pet!
We recently had a critical situation with Leonard and everyone was so caring and they took such great care of him! One of the staff even went out and bought him a soft toy to comfort him! Dr. K. worked into the evenings, night after night, trying to figure out what was going on with our dog, who presented with some very strange symptoms that did not fit any specific diagnosis. He really cares about his patients! He also called every night with an update and his professional opinion about Leonard's conditions.
Leonard was critical several times during the course of his in-patient stay and we know that their top notch care and TLC got him through those hard times! Lucas Vet Hosp had our dog for in-patient treatment for a total of 16 days and not only took care of our bulldog, but were very supportive of our family as well. We now have him at home and he is recovering well.
We will always take our pets to Lucas Veterinary Hospital and highly recommend Dr. Kendall and all of his staff!
I love Lucas Vet Hospital. The staff are kind and caring to all the animals, and all three of my goldens adore everyone there. Dr. Kendall has taken care of all my dogs since 1994 and I have NEVER known a better vet. Dr. Kendall is honest with you without being mean (too many treats do fatten the dog!!!), and is able to give you bad news in a way that you are able to still make decisions during a very emotional time. He helped us get through Humprhey's old age, with all the illnesses that encompassed, without once losing his patience (or his sense of humor) with us or our crochety 19 year old terrier.
I am not close in proximity to Lucas now, but I make the drive so my dogs get the great care Lucas Vet Hospital gives. I'll never change vets!
Dr. Kendall is a wonderful, caring veterinarian, and has taken excellent care of our dogs and cats. He's even been willing to come out to our car to give vaccinations to one of our dogs (who is scared to death to come into the office - probably upset by the smells and sounds).
